The video showing great efforts in making the Oscar. In the earlier days the Oscar was made up of Bronze. But as time passes Bronze has been replaced with britannia metal,  a pewter like alloy. The processing also includes coating it with various metals like copper. Then it is coated with nickel silver and in the final step it includes the coating with 24 karat gold.
