Worst Film of the year nomination includes Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo!!!

The recent film of Salman Khan Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Shah Rukh Khan’s DilWale has made a fortune. Both of the film has entered the 100 crore club. But most epic moment is that both of the films are nominated for the worst film of the year. Actually we can say that a competition itself is going on with the two films for grabing the worst film trophy at the 8^th Annual Kela Awards. The other film which participate for the same trophy are Bombay Velvet, Shaandaar and Sing is Bliing.

The super romantic Jodi in Bollywood Shar Rukh Khan and Kajol reunited  after 5 years for the film DilWale. I should say that the film even has some copied scenes from the Hollywood. Also Salman Khan reunited with Maine Pyar Kiya film director Sooraj Barjatya after 16 years for the film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.  Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Sing is Bliing bagged the maximum number of nominations this year. The voting for the nomination is still going on and anyone can nominate till March 30 2016. The ceremony will take place at India Habitat Centre.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya. And the film is produced by Ajit Kumar Barjatya, Kamal Kumar Barjatya and Rajkumar Barjatya. The film is based on novel “The Prisoner of Zenda” by Wells Root and Donald Ogden Stewart. The prominent actors in the film are Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh. The music for the film is composed by Himesh Reshammiya.

The film DilWale is directed by Rohit Shetty. And the film is produced by Gauri Khan and Rohit Shetty itself. The film is written by Yunus Sajawal. The actors in the film are Shar Rukh Khan, Kajol Devgn, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. The music for the film is done by Pritam Chakraborty. The film was shooted at a budget of 100 crore INR. The box office collection was 394 crore INR. The film was released on 18^th December, 2015.

The film Tevar is directed by Amith Ravindernath Sharma. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, SOnakshi Sinha, Manoj Bajpayee and Rajesh Sharma. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Sunil Lulla, Naresh Agarwal and Sunil Manchanda. The budget of the film was 85 crore INR, but in the box office it earned only 56 crore INR.

Another important news is that Bollywood’s brother-sister duo Arjun Rampal and Sonam Kapoor has been nominated for the worst actor three times consecutively. Arjun has been nominated for his act in the film Tevar. Other contestants for the worst actor are Sooraj Pancholi for acting in Hero, Imran Khan for acting in Katti Batti and all the male starcast of Pyar ka panchamma 2. Salman has also been nominated for Baawra Ho Gaya Hai Ke Award. 

Now talking about the actresses, main rival for Sonam Kapoor is Sonakshi SInha for the acting in the film Tevar. Followed by Shradha Kapoor for the acting in ABCD 2 and Amy Jackson for the film Singh is Bliing and the whole female cast of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoonand Calendar Girls.Arjun Rampal and Sonakshi Sinha were awarded for the worst actor and worst actress in the 7^th Annual Kela Awards.

The Golden Kela awards are given for the worst performances in the Bollywood film industry. The Golden Kela awards are created by Random magazine and the Sundaas Film institute in the year 2009. The first annual Golden kela award took place India Habitat Centre, on 7 march 2009. The main purpose of the film is to criticize, point out or acknowledge the worst film which was released that year.
